If you’re unaware, that’s a quote from There Will Be Blood. I’m 26 years old, living in Lake Tahoe with my amazing girlfriend and black lab, Maverick. I started this blog as an informal journal to organize my thoughts. I’m not here to preach or tell you what to do but you’re more than welcome to take my advice and apply it. Don’t take me too seriously, I don’t.

I grew up in the safe white suburbia of Granite Bay, California. I’ve lived in Lincoln, Rocklin, Moraga, San Ramon, Reno, and now Truckee. As an only child, I had to be creative to entertain myself. I enjoy Jiu Jitsu, rugby, exercise, exploration, philosophy, chess, breaking the social code, and stirring the pot among other things. I dislike authority and hate hypocrisy. I don’t align with any particular political party, though people tend to assume I’m conservative because of my mullet and aversion to taxes.
